Oh my, Harold and the elephant certainly do pull on the heartstrings! What wonderful whimsy you've put into them both! They look like they'd make perfect storybook characters, and I would know: I'm a kindergarten teacher!

I hope you'll drop by both of my giveaways (at Twigs and Tulle and Kindergarten's 3 R's: I'm giving away a mini bunting and some pattern blocks) during this awesome blogging event! Happy OWOH!

My biggest dream is the dream I have had since I was a child. I have always dreamed that I found my dad alive out west. He was killed when I was 9 and I have woke up many nights since then crying. The dream of finding him is so real! It is now 40+ years later and I still occasionally have the same dream.... and it is always very similar...strange isn't it.

One magical day..... I dreamt that the world changed...... the big PTB, (the powers that be), were awakened by an even greater Power.....the Power of One; the Power of Love;the Power of Giving.
They began to realise that they were leaching the world, by all that they took.
They stopped what they were doing, making another Billion or two, and suddenly they Saw the Light !
They SAW you and I; they SAW the poverty much of the World lived in.

They began to feel guilty for all the hardship they had caused, and REALISED, THAT IT WAS UP TO THEM, to Change.
And Change they did..... they began to charge less rent, less for their services, less for their roles in the Corporate World.
They gave their Billions of $'s so that no country, no person, had to live in poverty.
They stopped ravaging the Planet for minerals.
They ALLOWED the Green Alternatives to be made available to everyone without hefty price tags.
In my DREAM, the World was saved from the self destructive path it was travelling......... Just in The Nick of Time........and the World went back to a Slower Pace of Existence, and everyone was Happy, and Fulfilled .......There was Joy and Laughter.....and Creativity as people re-learnt skills, making things again, instead of throwing away something broken and heading out to buy a new one.........Life had purpose and meaning once again.............
